The 2017 C.ex McDonald’s Cycle Challenge will be conducted on  Sunday 6th August

The rides for 2017 will start and finish at the Geoff King Motors Oval on Hogbin Drive, Coffs Harbour.  There are categories for elite and recreational riders as well as families and riders with a disability.

The rides will include:

Sunday 6th August:
100 km ride – For competent and experienced riders, this route is a picturesque ride through forest, farmlands and creeks via Sawtell, Bellingen Shire and Nambucca Shire

60 km ride – Designed for experienced and intermediate riders, this route follows the 100km ride through forest and farmland, turning around at the end of the old Pacific Highway at Raleigh.

40 km ride – This ride is aimed at recreational riders and follows a safe and picturesque route via Sawtell and Bonville to Archville Station Road roundabout.

20 km ride – This ride is aimed at recreational and disability riders and follows cycle paths along the Pacific Highway then via Lyons Road and Sawtell.

10 km ride – For families, less experienced or older riders, and disability riders with hand cycles, this route follows the Coffs Harbour cycle ways around Christmas Bells Road.

Ride Categories and Entry Fees:
100 km ride – $80 per adult. Riders must be 15 years of age and over to enter this category. Riders 15 to 18 can ride for free, but parent/carer must complete the event permission note. 

60 km ride – $80 per adult. Riders must be 12 years of age and over to enter this category. Riders 12 to 18 can ride for free, but parent/carer must complete the event permission note. 

40 km ride – $50 per adult. Riders aged 12 to 18 can ride for free, but parent/carer must complete the event permission note. Riders under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

20 km ride – $50 per adult. Riders aged 12 to 18 can ride for free, but parent/carer must complete the event permission note. Riders under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

10 km ride – A maximum of 2 adults can ride for $20. Children 12 to 18 can ride for free. Riders under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
