The C.ex McDonald’s Cycle Challenge is a community event that loves to give back to the community. With over 1000 participants expected for 2017 event, it is no doubt that the events’ volunteers are a pinnacle part of the successful running of the event.
Perhaps the most popular of the races for the C.ex McDonald’s Cycle Challenge in Coffs Harbour will be the 10km event as it attracts elite and recreational riders, along with groups of families who love to cycle together.
Commencing at 8.20 on August 6, the 10km event is coordinated by a wonderful group of volunteers from Sawtell Public School, ensuring that riders are looked after with water and fruit stations, and supervision riders throughout the event. This year marks the third year for the Sawtell Public School’s volunteers.
A generous gift of $1000 will be donated to Sawtell Public School P&C from Coffs City Rotary Club in appreciation of the schools valued volunteers.
Rainbow Cycles Coffs Harbour, have donated a Specialized Roubaix road bike valued over $4000 as a first place lucky draw prize to the events participants.
Second place will win two amazing cycling holidays with SpiceRoads tours valued at $2000 each, and, entrants of the 10km family ride will go into the draw to win one of many fantastic prizes courtesy of Amart Sports Coffs Harbour, the main prizes being either a boy or girls Nitro Traverse Mountain Bike.
